So guess who scored so big...Me! While scouting the streets in Laguna I came across the coolest consignment store called Havoc on Ocean Ave. Among my little treasures: a funky Missoni dress, a Burburry skirt I swear has never been worn + a sweet little Madison Marcus silk tank. This is the type of place you check once a week to see what has turned up. While you are there, swing by the art store next door and then on down to Zinc Cafe to dish about your finds!

Ladies, it is time to start thinking about putting the finishing touches on your New Years Eve look. No matter what you are doing (or wearing) you can make quite the statement with your eyes! As always we love a smoked eye with a nude lip, or a cool metallic trio on the lid. BUT, why not get a little daring + try a bit of both. A smokey eye with a pop of metallic in the corner gives a chic + sexy touch to any ensemble, + with a nude lip you don't need to worry about touching up your lipstick after the champagne toast(s).

Play With Color Combos

We are so done with purple...purple and jewel tones paired with black. They are pretty, but lets try something a little more unexpected for the day. We are so feeling the unusual color combinations seen at Marc Jacobs, Halston, Bluemarine, Louis Vuitton, and Chloe! Try starting with a cream or camel base, then highlight with a pastel blouse or cardigan and top it off with a pop of something unexpected, like a mustard or burgundy. If you are loving the purple, try a desaturated shade like mauve or periwinkle paired with cream and grey and incorporate that poison purple color in a shoe or clutch.

Sleepy Time

Get some relaxing sleep in while this cool and rainy weather is still here. Sometimes we all just need a little nap time...sweet dreams
